2 to 2 1/2 Pounds of Very lean beef
2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil
2 Large diced onions
Water
5 Large Potatoes (in eigths)
4 to 5 Large Carrots (in 2 inch slices)
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic salt (optional)
Diced celery (optional)
1 Can (1-pound) tomatoes
Cube the beef
Brown the meat with the onions in vegetable oil
Add in about 2 cups of water and simmer until meat is tender.
Add in other ingredients and cook until the veggies are tender.
